CEO of Achaval-Ferrer, winemaker and educator. Discover his trajectory.
A few months before graduating with honors with a degree in Oenology and Fruit Horticulture, a professor by the name of Mariano Di Paola invited him to be a part of the Bodega Rutini team in 1996. After a short time he became the second in position wine expert where he stayed until 2000, only then leaving to take on the position of number one wine expert at the Navarro Correas Bodega.
In 2003 he takes on the Andeluna project from its beginnings, growing together for eight years until deciding to leave in 2011 and become head wine expert and general manager at Bodega Diamandes. Over time amongst other awards he receives the Winemaker Revelation award given out by a major institution and magazine that specializes in oenology.
His origins are probably what have led to his other profession passion of teaching. He has over fifteen years of experience as an undergraduate and graduate professor of different subjects in the field of oenology.
This trajectory led him to take on the general direction of Achaval-Ferrer in 2013 where he passionately works today. Along with this position he is also a current member of the WOFA Directive Commission and the Argentine Bodegas.
